Welcome to the first workshop of the FSS fall season!Es la hora de bailar rumba!!! We are happy to announce that Goerdanis Figuerola is coming to give a vol 2 of his workshop from last spring. And once again, the dance, especially rumba, needs live percussionists and singers to be complete. We are having great rumberos heating up the dance floor, Jesús La Rosa Pérez, Gerardo Hernández, Jani Lehtioksa and Yoandy Jimeno. You don’t want to miss this authentic opportunity to learn and dance the mother of the Cuban dances, rumba.
Geordanis is teaching three classes:
? 17-18 salsa con elementos de rumba (coreography)
? 18-19 rumba técnica (música en vivo)
? 19-20 rumba guaguancó (música en vivo)
All three are open-level classes. Some salsa experience is recommended but you don’t need to have experience in rumba. What you need to have is a body and mind that want to dance!
