We’re very lucky here in the greater Rochester area to have some truly exceptional bar programs right within our city. One of the newest and most exciting is that of Matt and Joe at Aqua Vitae on East Avenue. These two experienced industry professionals and avid spirits enthusiasts opened Aqua Vitae last year, and they’ve been building a reputation on uncompromising curation of spirits and quality of cocktailing ingredients. Matt and Joe have gained particular notoriety for their rum and agave spirits program, we’re very excited to partner with them to showcase some of our outstanding rum single barrel selections. Next Thursday, May 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Lucas, our spirits specialist, will be pouring four exclusive selections at Aqua Vitae - 320 East Avenue. He’ll have the Privateer Rumming Head Start selection of New England rum, the Transcontinental Rum Line pick of 19 year Trinidad rum, the Transcontinental pick of 14 year El Salvador rum, and the Holmes Cay selection of 15 year Belize rum. All are exclusive, limited picks of BayTowne Wine & Spirits and were bottled at cask strength without additives. Stop by to try one of a kind rums in an incredible bar!
