We might be a whisky bar, but this Christmas, we're embracing the spirit of rum! And who better to guide us than the ultimate rum aficionado, our friend from Speciality Brands, Dean MacGregor? Yes, folks, he's our Rum Santa this year, and he’s bringing something extra special to our tasting table: the new Black Tot Historic Solera, hot off the press in October/November! 🎁

What’s the deal with this Black Tot? Well, only that they've snagged a 70-year-old solera system (yes, you read that right) from a Sherry bodega in Jerez! These epic 800-litre casks now live at Tormore in Speyside. How cool is that?

But wait... there’s more! Dean will also be bringing a few sherries for us to taste, so we can fully understand the influence of sherry on rum maturation—sweetening the whole experience even further.

And that’s not all! We’ll be pairing these divine rums with mouthwatering Kneals chocolates. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it—sampling rum and chocolate to find the perfect match just for you.
