Brit hard-hitters RULED BY RAPTORS will release their explosive mini-album, A Shadow That Never Moves, on
Friday 2nd October. Marking a clear evolution in their sound, the record pushes their blend of progressive
elements, high-octane riffs, and melodic vocals into heavier, more expansive territory and they head to Southampton for their debut at Heartbreakers.

Compounds
Compounds deliver melodic hardcore like a freight train of catharsis. Their music is made to be experienced live and they pride themselves on delivering frenetic commotion at all their gigs. Having played Bloodstock in 2025 they are currently writing new material and preparing to bring their unique brand of emotionally charged chaos to stages throughout the country.
Throwing Distance
Throwing Distance are a UK post-hardcore band. The band formed in the autumn of 2024. Drawing influence from Saosin, Title Fight, and Underoath, the band writes heavy, melodic songs with relatable and personal lyrics. Their debut EP, Hear You Out, was released in February 2025, followed by their second EP, Home, in July 2025. Throwing Distance play shows across the South of England and London, and are beginning to establish themselves within the alternative music scene. Their latest single “Let Me Burn” was released in June and has featured several times on BBC introducing.
The band is fronted by Emily Marden, alongside guitarist Matty Wylie, drummer Vince Brain, bassist Oli Spring, and lead guitarist Ben Fraser.
Goblyn
Goblyn, who blend elements of early Gojira, Machine Head, and Pantera-style aggression with the technical chops, groove and progressive elements of Mastodon, present a slamming wall of sound to capture the raw tone of the sludgiest metal in the genre. Formed in September of 2024, Goblyn have rapidly risen to be a fan favourite in the local scene, already winning The Lounge Bar’s Launch Pad competition in February 2026
