Rug Tufting Workshop with Melspace Creative

Learn how to tuft and take home your own handmade rug! Melissa of Melspace Creative will walk you through each step from design to execution. This workshop will cover all the basic tufting skills you'll need to create your very own rug from start to finish, and will be able to walk away with your rug that day! This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials will be provided! All you need to bring with you is an idea for your design that will fit in a 2-foot by 2-foot frame. Still trying to decide what to design? Melissa is here to help you work through ideas and come up with the perfect rug!
These workshops aren't our dedicated Pet Portrait sessions, but if you'd like to tuft your pet, Melissa is happy to guide you during a regular workshop!
You will create a design, learn the basics of tufting from Melissa, tuft your rug, and then learn the finishing stages, such as gluing, trimming, and backing.
You will leave with your finished rug THAT DAY!
