Concept:The rueda style in Odense Salsaforening has developed a lot in the last few years and implementation of some of the "Berlin Style" principles means that we can quickly get dancers of mixed abilities to dance complicated rueda structures. Don't believe us?
Then join these intensive sessions for us to prove it!
We call them intensives because we'll be working hard to refresh basic material and the rueda rules, expanding our repotoire of moves/calls and implementing them all into a structure that is not JUST a circle! ;-)
Don't worry though, we'll still be having a giggle about messing up the calls and the panic on the face of the person realsing they're going the wrong way. :-D
Programme:
10:00 - 11:15 Session 1
We repeat the beginners material and refresh the rueda rules in preparation for session 2.
Requirements - must have completed a block of cuban salsa or rueda de casino classes.
11:30 - 12:45 Session 2
We introduce other material and execute them applying the rueda rules.
Requirements - either a beginners block of rueda de casino classes or participation in session 1.
13:00 - 14:15 Session 3
We use the material and rules from sessions 1 and 2 to a different rueda structure - Avenida or linia moderna, the smallest form of llanta. Don't know what these words mean? Then it's time to find out! :-)
Requirements - if you have not taken a block of improver level rueda classes before then you must be confident that you can grasp the directions of travel in rueda commands quickly.
Prices:
To ensure the intented progression during the day, there is a minimum sign-up of 2 sessions.
Sessions 1 & 2: 100kr
Sessions 2 & 3: 100kr
Sessions 1, 2 & 3: 130kr

To make life easier on the day, this is a pay in advance event and we'll be matching the numbers of leads and follows. Here's the procedure:
