DOG EXPLOSION
*******************
9.00
Dog Explosion is Nottingham's own one man cult of electronic and vocal expression. Created by singer / songwriter Oliver Lovley, Dog Explosion brings together the distorted sounds of electronic rock, the pumping hits n' stabs of 90's ravelation, the left wing ideologies of punk and the seasoned voice of the big band singer and mushes them all together in a paranoic outburst of furious positive energy, all with a polite smile, minimal bad language and a professional looking shirt and tie.
Lyrics are the driving force of Oliver's songs, informed by music and writers including Faith No More, Tina Turner, Erasure, Sleaford Mods, William Burroughs, Shriekback, Kate Bush, Benefits, Talking Heads, Sisters of Mercy, The Nightingales and many more.
Phrases such as “golden teeth in polystyrene gums, synthetic bile breaks down the scum” and “I broke every code of the organic zone so the lips of the mainframe could swallow me whole” become strains of a desperate manifesto delivered to a congregation of lost souls reunited in life's wilderness.

9.30 pn
Rising like a lairy phoenix from the embers of what was The White Skull Death Snakes of Death emerge the more sensibly named Inevitable, Unstoppable , Death, Band, playing their hearts out for your pleasure. They dance like no one's watching, play like no one's listening and sing like angel's just bunked out of heaven on it's tea break. Watch them live and die happy.
You won't find them on the internet, they're far too cool for all of that sort of nonsense.
THE ACH BAND

8.30 pm
ACHB (technically short for Alex and the Christopher Hale Band, though don’t call them that) is the East Midlands’ number 1 anti-cool rock/roll band. Drawing from a decade-spanning back catalogue of over 200 DIY bedroom pop songs, they supplement timidity with tenacity, presenting fast-paced and high-energy musical tributes to troublesome housemates, unhelpful prophetic dreams and the concept of death.
Following a series of one-offs and false starts, the current iteration of ACHB has been ongoing since January 2019 and consists of 36-year-old child prodigy Alexander Christopher Hale and a selection of more competent musician friends who he was able to trick into backing him. Amongst its ranks you’ll find Baz 'The Barracuda' Barradell (Drums), Dom 'The Barracuda' Brady (Guitar), Stephen 'The Barracuda' Marsh (Guitar) and Cameron 'The Barracuda' Worne (Bass).

RICKY JAMARAZ

7.30
Ricky Jamaraz is a young man who lives in the suburbs of Nottingham, UK. Ever since he was a 13 year old tearfuck he has been independently writing, recording and releasing his own music all from the confines of his bedroom. He is now 17 and he is still afraid to set foot in a 'real' recording studio. Along with writing and performing his music, Ricky is completely self-managed, and he wrote this stupid bio because someone on the internet said it would be a good idea.
