Emotional ballads with danceable beats make for an ephemeral listening experience from the Denver-based band Rubie Gold, who is pleased to announce their debut E.P. titled Gold Rush. This dynamic trio takes influences from a broad swath of alternative and classic rock weaved with dreamy synth and haunting vocals.
Arily Michele moved to Denver to find her voice and wound up recording an entire album. She is named after an acronym her parents used in letters to one another, pronounced “AIR-ill-ee.” Notorious for combining classic literature with elements of witchcraft, Arily’s electropop sound has been compared to St. Vincent and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Since releasing her debut album, Echolalia, Arily has been featured on CPR’s Colorado Matters and 303 Magazine’s “New Colorado Music You Should Know.”
Opening the evening is Chandler Wm. Hoffhines Tidwell, who will showcasing music from his new album.
