Hi everyone! I was going to record a video explaining this art show, but my camera is broken so this will have to do for now. Rubbish on Park: What is it?
Rubbish on Park is our free-to-enter and open to the public art show, where the art is not what you typically think of when you think “art show”. We want the weird stuff. This show is not juried, and as long as your art fits the theme, it will be accepted.
So what do I mean by weird stuff? Examples: painting on a canvas with food items- painted with coffee etc, art made of spray painted rice to be arranged into whatever form, sculptures of trash, paintings on humans, collages
What do we not want? The typical, paintings on canvas, drawings etc.
This show is to make artists step out of the box, and come up with something fun, and maybe even something you would normally NEVER do.
I wanted to announce these loose guidelines so you would have ample time to work! As always, free to enter, 3 pieces per artist, and you may sell your work with full cost going to you.
For this show, we will also be having open mic entertainment! Have a song you have been working on? A poem? Did you just learn and awesome dance? Come and show us. Think of it as an adult talent show.
