Based on Disney's epic animated musical adventure and Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes, Tarzan features heart-pumping music by rock legend, Phil Collins, and a book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang. High-flying excitement and hits, like the Academy Award winning "You'll Be in My Heart," as well as "Son of Man" and "Two Worlds," make Tarzan an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Audition Info: You must be 10 years or older on audition day to be eligible for this workshop. Please prepare an audition song from a musical (not Tarzan). 16 bars only, 32 if cut-time. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided for you. Please dress to dance or bring additional dancewear; you will be taught a short dance combination at the audition. You will also need to fill out and bring with you the audition form and conflict sheet.
Callbacks: If you are called back, congratulations! You made it into the workshop. The registration fee of $400 will be due upon arrival, Sunday December 8th at 5:00pm. This payment must be made before the audition for parts begins. This is a non-refundable payment.
