Pirmdien, 31. augustā, Iedvesmas parkā pie Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes Dzirciema ielā 16 notiks jaunā studiju gada atklāšana.
Noslēdzoties pirmā kursa studentu integrācijas pasākumiem Studentu pirmā pietura un ārvalstu studentu sagaidīšanas nedēļai Rīgas Stradiņa universitātē "Welcome Week", aicinām pirmā kursa studentus kopīgi atzīmēt jaunā studiju gada sākumu.

* Sarunas un spēles kopā ar RSU Studējošo pašpārvaldi
* Sportiskas aktivitātes RSU Sporta kluba pārstāvju vadībā

📣 RSU Opening of academic year
On Monday, 31 August, the opening ceremony of the new 2026/2027 academic year will take place in the courtyard of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) main building at 16 Dzirciema iela.
Following the completion of the first-year student integration activities ‘Students' First Stop’ for local students, and ‘Welcome Week’ for international students, we invite all first-year students to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year together.
✅ 13:00–16:00 Activities in RSU Inspiration Park
* Conversations and games with the RSU Student Union
* Sports activities led by the RSU Sports Club
* Meet our mixed choir “Rīga” and the folk dance ensemble “Ačkups” to enjoy the rhythms of song and the steps of dance together�
* Activities and discussions let by the RSU Business Incubator team
* Learn all about the flash assistant ‘Learning How to Learn’.
* Learn more about the services offered by the RSU Family Health Centre
✅ 14:30 Opening of academic year
* RSU Rector, Prof. Aigars Pētersons, will offer words of encouragement and valuable advice for your academic journey
* A greeting from RSU Student Union and words of inspiration for new students from International Student Association
* An opportunity to meet the university and faculty representatives in person
* Throughout the event, the Latvian band The Bad Tones will entertain us with lively performances
* The event will take place outdoors. Please check the weather forecast and bring an umbrella or a raincoat in case of rain!
