Rstrt the Machines vol.1 : Pharmakon live in Athens
Rstrt the Machines is a new initiative to create events with concerts and DJ sets from the Noise / Industrial / EBM and experimental music scene, in small venues and underground spaces with limited capacity, aimed at an audience that truly cares about what is coming and wants to experience it.
The first event takes place on November 25th at Crust Basement in the center of Athens, with doors opening at 20:30 and a strictly limited capacity of 90 people. Tickets: 20€.
Headlining the night is Pharmakon, the uncompromising noise and power electronics project of Margaret Chardiet (NYC). Known for her visceral, confrontational performances and raw intensity, Pharmakon has become one of the most distinctive voices in the experimental underground worldwide. This rare Athens appearance will be a unique opportunity to experience her work up close, in the claustrophobic setting of Crust’s basement.
The lineup is completed by Asylum Promises, an Athenian project that merges harsh industrial textures with haunting atmospheres, and Danai Simou, who will make her live debut presenting her first EP.

Το Rstrt the Machines είναι μια νέα πρωτοβουλία για τη δημιουργία events με συναυλίες και DJ sets από τη Noise / Industrial / EBM και την πειραματική μουσική σκηνή, σε μικρούς χώρους και υπόγεια με περιορισμένη χωρητικότητα και ένα κοινό που πραγματικά ενδιαφέρεται γι’ αυτό που έρχεται και θέλει να το ζήσει.
Το πρώτο event θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 25 Νοεμβρίου στο Crust Basement στο κέντρο της Αθήνας, με ώρα έναρξης 20:30 και αυστηρά περιορισμένη χωρητικότητα 90 ατόμων. Εισιτήριο: 20€.
Headliner της βραδιάς είναι η Pharmakon, το αδυσώπητο noise και power electronics project της Margaret Chardiet (Νέα Υόρκη). Με τις σωματικές, συγκρουσιακές εμφανίσεις της και την ακατέργαστη ένταση, η Pharmakon έχει καθιερωθεί ως μία από τις πιο ξεχωριστές φωνές της διεθνούς πειραματικής underground σκηνής. Η σπάνια αυτή εμφάνιση στην Αθήνα θα είναι μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να βιώσετε το έργο της από κοντά, μέσα στο κλειστοφοβικό περιβάλλον του Crust basement.
Το line-up συμπληρώνουν οι Asylum Promises, αθηναϊκό project που συνδυάζει industrial σκληρότητα με σκοτεινές ατμόσφαιρες, και η Danai Simou, η οποία θα κάνει το ντεμπούτο live της παρουσιάζοντας το πρώτο της EP.
