Join us for a unique evening at the Australian Museum as part of the lead-up to its Bicentenary celebrations in 2027.
Presented exclusively for the Royal Society of NSW, this special after-hours event offers an opportunity to experience a preview of the Australian Museum's new Bicentenary documentary before its official release.
This preview will be followed by a panel discussion, which will explore the Museum's remarkable 200-year history, our shared roots and intertwined contributions to Australian science, and future opportunities to advance scientific knowledge and public engagement. Australian Museum director and CEO Kim McKay will chair the panel, which will feature Prof. Shane Ahyoung of the Australian Museum and Emeritus Prof. Robert Clancy.
The evening will open with drinks and canapés in the Wild Planet space, with further opportunities for questions and discussion following the panel.
Tickets are $60 for Society members, non-members, and guests. Registration is open now, and closes at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9.
