Ross Music Theatre is updating its audition process this year. We will be auditioning for two shows: Leap of Faith and MEMPHIS. One show will be performed this summer, and the other will be staged in January. On May 25th, we will announce which show will be performed in the summer based on which cast is strongest. The other show will be produced in January. Auditions for both shows will take place on May 24, 25, and 26.At 6:30PM in Reinhart Auditorium Ensemble in Leap of Faith needs all ages, and needs a 12 -15 year old boy to play Jake Mcgowan.
Both musicals feature outstanding music, extensive dance numbers, and large ensembles with spectacular production sequences.

Leap of Faith is a Broadway musical based on the 1992 film of the same name, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Janus Cercone and Warren Leight. The story follows Jonas Nightingale, a traveling con artist and fake evangelist whose bus breaks down in a drought-stricken Kansas town, leading him on a journey of unexpected redemption.
MEMPHIS is a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical (2010, Best Musical) set in the 1950s. It features a rock 'n' roll score by David Bryan, founding member of Bon Jovi, and a book by Joe DiPietro. Loosely based on DJ Dewey Phillips, the musical tells the story of Huey Calhoun, a white radio DJ who risks everything to play Black music in segregated Tennessee, sparking a cultural revolution while falling in love with a Black singer.
