About this Event
Join the Manchester Fellows as we step into the coffee and conversations tradition. Each month we will gather to connect with one another and discuss a significant issue. We will also decide the next month’s discussion topics. So why not buy a coffee and come join us for a vital conversation about the future of family life in the UK.
As Fellows, we often discuss systems and policies, but true transformation often starts much closer to home. We believe that to improve the well-being of children and young people, we must look at the role of the parent through a new lens: Family well-being at the heart of society with Parent as a Leader.
This meet-up is an invitation to pause, connect, and explore how we can support families in moving beyond survival mode into thriving. We will discuss the practical and profound ways parents can lead their families by:
· Establishing Structure: Creating safe, predictable environments where children can ground themselves.
· Building Family Culture: Defining the shared values and "unwritten rules" that give a family its unique identity.
· Strengthening Bonds: Fostering the deep, resilient connections that act as a buffer against external stress.
We invite you for a dialogue. We want to hear your insights on how empowering parents to lead with intention can ripple out to create healthier communities across the nation.
Come for the coffee, Stay for the inspiration! Let us re-imagine family well-being together and build positive society!
