Back on the big screen where it belongs for a one night only!RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) is an exhilarating, action-packed epic that imagines a fictional friendship between two real-life Indian freedom fighters set into motion when a young girl is stolen from her rural village by British soldiers. One of them (megastar Jr NTR) is the village's protector, sworn to bring her back, while the other (also megastar Ram Charan) is a junior officer serving the British Raj who vows to stop him... though has a separate mission of his own.
RRR is what theaters are for. This is pure big screen joy. Some movies have a moment that makes you want to stand up and cheer, RRR is a series of them expertly connected. The emotions are intense, there are three action scenes that would be the climax of a Fast and Furious film that happen before the opening title card drops 40 minutes in, there is a dance number that is inspiring audiences to dance in front of the screen. A dude throws a cheetah at another dude.
