This may be the only chance people get to investigate this truly remarkable landmark, and former Royal Palace.
Built in the Mid 1780's for Then George prince of Wales (King George1V)
Changed drastically in the early 1800 by John Nash on commission by the then King.
Upon his death in 1830 King William 1V Occasionally used the Royal Palace, When Queen Victoria came to the throne, her preference for Osbourne House meant the Pavilion fell out of favour with the Royals (Queen Victoria's Bed still remains in the building).
Queen Victoria Sold the Pavilion to the City of Brighton in 1850.
Removing a lot of the original features (These were later handed back). The building has seen many changes over the years being used as a Military hospital to the museum it is today.
What will be uncovered after dark is anyone guess? this will be a first time investigation.
