You’ll not only learn how to make royal icing from scratch but also get guided instruction on decorating cookies using the icing you created. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence with royal icing!🍥 What to Expect:
Sarah will start by walking you step-by-step through making a fresh batch of royal icing—covering ingredients, consistency tips, and tricks for success. You’ll practice thinning your icing for both piping and flooding, mixing colors, and bagging your icing like a pro.
Then, using your freshly made icing, you’ll jump right into decorating two cookies with Sarah guiding you every step of the way. Think of it as a decorating class and an icing class combined—double the learning, double the fun!
Throughout the decorating portion, Sarah will demonstrate techniques like outlining, flooding, adding simple details, and layering—all while answering questions and offering one-on-one help as needed.
