HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Please join the Rowe PTO, in conjunction with silver sponsor Kids Arcanum, for the third annual Craft & Quest Adventure! This will take place on Sunday October 13th at 1-3pm, with a rainout day on the following Sunday. This kid friendly event is a FREE community event, and all are welcome to attend. There will be snacks provided by the PTO, mask coloring, shield making, and a special appearance from our good friend of the realm, Matt Blazek, otherwise known a the Agincourt Soldier. You can learn more about his amazing organization at historylivenortheast.org. Matt visits schools all over Maine to talk about everything medieval and awesome, and he joined us for our first Craft & Quest a couple years ago. His vast collection of armor and shields was a massive hit! After they build their own shields, he will be gathering the kids around for a discussion about heraldry and the historical Battle of Agincourt in 1415. We can’t wait to see you and please feel free to come dressed up in your favorite medieval costume! There will be no swords or weapons on display. HUZZAH!
