Rowan Stuart LIVE at The Acorn

Rowan Stuart has always been obsessed with the space between – the point where reality and imagination meet, where the ordinary world reveals something extraordinary. Originally from South Africa and now based in Devon, Rowan creates atmospheric alternative pop, blending soulful vocals, expressive guitar, live looping and cinematic layers to turn songs into immersive worlds. Sometimes tender and introspective, sometimes fiery and rhythmic, his music always carries a touch of magic.
Rowan has released six solo albums and several EPs, and has been performing across the South West since moving to the UK in 2024. His latest single, Make Believe, was featured by BBC Music Introducing.
For this series of performances, Rowan strips the music back to its essentials, creating an intimate setting for songs, stories and the atmosphere between them, while retaining the rhythmic energy, cinematic atmosphere and sense of wonder at the heart of his music. The result is an immersive experience that invites you to see the familiar from a different perspective – and perhaps leave with a renewed sense that there is more to life than what lies on the surface.
Join Rowan Stuart at The Acorn on Sunday 28 February 2027.
