The router table is considered to be one of the most important tools in any woodshop. This is due to it versatility of use along with its ability to make cuts precisely, accurately, and repeatably with little effort.
This class will be broken up into two sessions.
The first session, which all attendees must attend, will be held in the classroom where we will go over topics such as:
- Definitions/Terms/Names/Purpose of Routers & Related Items
- Explain why you'd use a router and what it can do
- How to Safely use a Router
- How to select the correct router bit for your purpose
- Some Hands on with Hand Held Routers
The second session (Router 101-Lab Session) will give you the chance to actually get hands on experience using the router table and how to do a multitude of cuts & adjustments to the table.

- Thur 11/21/24 @6:30pm
- Sun 11/24/24 @ 2pm (Note: This session will be opened up only if more than 8 people sign up for the class)
