RoundUP to Support the Middle Fork Greenway at the Mast Store Boone

In July, each Mast General Store’s staff chooses a local nonprofit partner that makes its community a better place to live.
Staff members chose organizations that are important to them and that contribute to their home communities as a whole by providing a vital service, protecting natural resources and wildlife, open doors for learning, and embrace culture.
Mast Store Boone joins many other businesses to support the Middle Fork Greenway with donations given to the project’s agent, Blue Ridge Conservancy. This project will eventually connect Boone with Blowing Rock via a greenway system that incorporates parks for fishing and picnicking, public art, and more. The project is 6.5 miles in length with two miles currently completed and another 2.3 miles under construction. With its completion, the greenway network in Watauga County will have 15 miles for residents and visitors to walk, jog, and bike.
