Roundtable 1: Energy Consumption

Throughout 2025, Sustain SC is hosting in-person, quarterly Energy Roundtables. These member-only events will provide two hours of interactive and engaging content as we discuss solutions to the most pressing energy opportunities and challenges that we face. They will be facilitated by a subject matter experts and will be closed to the press. The meetings will be scheduled to allow for ample networking time with companies, utilities, non-profits, government entities and providers.

Our first roundtable will explore the ‘demand’ side of energy from a residential, commercial and industrial perspective. We will start the session by understanding how consumption and renewables drive demand pricing from a utility perspective. We’ll then examine different solutions for reducing demand by looking at changing peak consumption patterns. Finally, we will hear from panelists on available resources, including state and federal programs to increase energy efficiency for residential and low-income consumers and corporate and industrial users.
