May 30-31, 2026
A Open/ CP/ Novice (Two Days)
B1 Open, CP/Novice/Leisure (Sat)
B2 Leisure (Sun)
This ride is coming up soon, so please get your entries in as soon as possible as management needs to finalize plans. It’s is a fun ride that has been resurrected this year-kudos to Maria Pilgrim, Gene
Boicelli and friends! So please come support it. Both one day and two day ride options are offered.Trails consist of fire roads and single tracks through Round Valley Regional Park and Morgan
Territory. The area is rolling oak woodland within sight of Mt. Diablo. The location is between the towns of Byron and Clayton on Marsh Creek Road, Contra Costa County.
Reminder: No DOGS ALLOWED, except for service dogs either in camp or in the park. These are PARK RULES for the safety of the park wildlife. If we violate these rules, we may forfeit having future
rides here.
Be sure to bring your own dipping buckets so that your horse doesn’t have to drink from a communal trough, tick and fly spray for humans and horses, and any gently used raffle items you can donate.
Friday night is a potluck dinner and Saturday is a Mexican Feast (additional fee). Ole! Breakfast snacks will be provided both days and volunteer meals are provided- thankyou -couldn’t do these
rides without our wonderful volunteers. **ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS** ARE STILL NEEDED FOR ROUND VALLEY. CONTACT MARIA PILGRIM 707-217-3582, [email protected] if you can help out. No experience needed.
Note: Open Division Mileage in NATRC rides qualifies for Tevis requirements and can also qualify registered Arabians and half Arabians for the AHA Championship ride to be held in conjunction with the Cool Canyon Ride Oct 10-11 th , 2026.
