As students head back to classrooms across our region, Mast General Store Rounds UP 4 youth-focused community partners during the month of August.
𝗦𝘁. 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 provides specialized support to young people with autism. The school’s programs use Applied Behavior Analysis to set individualized goals, and its staff uses a combination of one-on-one teaching methods designed to help each student succeed on their own terms. In addition to its educational and prevocational programs, St. Gerard House also hosts trainings, support groups, and consultations to the parents, caretakers, teachers, and therapists who work with individuals with autism.
The Mast Store believes that all children deserve the opportunity to begin the school year with the tools and confidence they need to succeed and have equal access to after-school and extracurricular programs that enhance their classroom education, guide them in developing healthy, lifelong habits, and instill skills to use as they become responsible, active community leaders.
