Repenser le métier et la responsabilité du designer envers la société, c’est là tout l’enjeu du design éthique. Dans une ère où le numérique domine, les questions de morale touchent tous les secteurs sans épargner le design qui se transforme au gré des innovations technologiques. Remettre le design au service de l’humain, et donc de l’utilisateur, devient pour beaucoup une priorité. Comment ne pas tromper l’utilisateur, comment pallier à la dépendance numérique, comment garantir une production responsable prenant en compte les problématiques sociales et environnementales, comment co-concevoir des produits durables ? Le design éthique garantit une réflexion limitant les effets négatifs du travail de designer sur le quotidien de chacun, mais comment évoluer avec la complexité de son environnement plutôt que de l’outrepasser? C’est ce que nous allons tenter de discuter dans cette table ronde garantie 100% éthique.Table ronde en français.

Rethinking the designer’s work and responsibility towards society is what ethical design is all about. In an era where digital technology dominates, questions of ethics affect all sectors, including design, which is being transformed by technological innovations. Putting design back at the service of the human being, and therefore the user, is becoming a priority for many. How to avoid misleading the user, how to overcome digital dependency, how to guarantee responsible production that takes into account social and environmental issues, how to co-design sustainable products? Ethical design guarantees a reflection that limits the negative effects of the designer’s work on the daily life of everyone, but how to evolve with the complexity of its environment rather than overcoming it? This is what we will try to discuss in this 100% ethical round table.
