Location: Teaching Garden and Helmerich Classroom
Whether your spring garden is slowing down or you want to start a new patch, it’s the perfect time plan your next move and add a little variety to your beds. We’ll discuss how to keep your kitchen full well into the fall with succession planting, crops that tolerate the Oklahoma heat, and cool season varieties that thrive when the temps start to drop.
Students will be able to choose from and plant their own 6-cell tray to take home. We will also have materials to make a quick visual plan of your home fall garden. Please come with a rough idea of square footage.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. This workshop is $20 for Tulsa Garden Center members. Non-members $25.
