Rules and Regulations
1. Certification: This is a USBC certified event, open to adult bowlers. All USBC rules and regulations shall apply. All entrants must be current USBC members.
2. Averages: Use highest 2023-24 avg. of 21 games or more. If none, then use the highest current 2024-25 avg. of 21 games or more. If none, then the bowler will use a 210 avg. There will be no 10-pin rule for this event. All averages will be verified prior to the start of the tournament. If a bowler has a standard average and a sport average, the standard average shall be used. If a bowler must use his/her sport average, their average shall be adjusted using the USBC Sport Conversion Chart.
3. Handicap: Handicap will be 90% of 210.
4. Format: Bowler will bowl five (5) games of qualifying. Then cut to the "Eliminator Round" will be the nearest multiple of four (4) below the cash number. For example:
• with 40 entries, the top 8 will advance with the top 10 cashing. • with 48 entries the top 12 will advance, etc.'
The "Eliminator Round" will consist of qualifiers being placed into groups of 4. Each group will bowl one (1) game with the lowest score being eliminated. This will continue until only one bowler is remaining per group. The winners of each group will again be grouped together, and the process will continue until only one bowler remains.
5. Payouts, Entry Fee, and Breakdown: Payout ratio is 1:4. Entry fee is $60 / bowler. $15 lineage / $2 admin fee / $3 awards / $40 prize fund. No online payments will be accepted for this event. Pay cash the day of the event.
7. Optional side pots: There will be optional $5 individual brackets, $20 high game, $20 individual sweeper. All side pot offerings will be handicap and scratch. Handicap will be 90% of 210.
8. Tournament Authority: The Tournament Host will have final say in all disputes, rules not covered here, or rules not covered by the USBC. The tournament director reserves the right to re-rate any bowler for any reason.
