For our first guest of 2026 we are very pleased to welcome a man who this year is celebrating 40 years of playing music, Portsmouth’s very own Warren Aylward.
Warren really shot to prominence in 1988 when he was a finalist in the prestigious UK DMC Mixing Final and the following year was Joint Battle of the DJ's Winner 1989 with Carl Cox.
From the 90s onwards Warren held long term residencies at 2 of Portsmouth’s most iconic venues, Ellie Jays and Scandals. Warren now holds regular Sunday Lunch sessions at South Parade Pier, Southsea and recently held his 40th DJ anniversary at a sold-out Nut Bar.
Whilst having amazing technical skills Warren is a great selector and for Rotation he is going to dig deep into his record collection of rare groove, soul, boogie and disco. We’re expecting our first bash of 2026 to be a jammer so don’t sleep on this and of course please spread the word.
