On Tuesday, August 12, Tulsa Will Rogers Rotary will welcome Fox 23 Meteorologist, Mike Grogan as our speaker. Come have lunch and enjoy the fun!
Mike is a native Tulsan and graduated cum laude in 2008 with a degree in meteorology from Valparaiso University in Indiana. From tornado outbreaks to winter storms, he has forecasted it all in Tulsa since April 2011. Mike is a member of the American Meteorological Society and currently serves as an officer in the Route 66 AMS chapter. He is also a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist through the AMS.
In addition to covering severe weather from the studio, Mike is an avid storm chaser. He has pursued storms in over 15 states across the country and relishes every moment he gets to witness the extremes of Mother Nature.
