The date of the D6970 Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) originally set for August 28th has changed to October 16th. The change was made after careful consideration of current COVID-19 activity. Input was received from a number of sources including the county health department. We believe this is the best choice to provide a fun event while assuring health and safety for all of our attendees. You have already taken RLI Parts 1 & 2, so I am inviting you to join us and complete the final Part 3 class
WHEN: Saturday, October 16th
Breakfast & Sign In 7:00am to 7:45am, Classes 8:00am to 3:00pm

REGISTER:
1) Go on-line to www.rlitraining.org
2) Tap on “Course Information" and then click on the “Course Schedule” dropdown
3) Scroll down to "October 16th -- Palm Coast", click on “More Info” and follow the prompts
FEE: $100.00 per Rotarian – includes the class registration fee, course material notebook, breakfast, lunch, facility fees and course completion certificate
Some clubs subsidize this expense. Ask your club leadership for details
Topics discussed during Part 3 include: Rotary History, International Service, Public Image, Leadership Strategies,
Foundation Grants, and Making A Difference. Remember, our class sessions are not lectures but are taught using the
"Socratic Method." This produces fun and interesting classes through our creative discussion groups, problem solving workshops and positive role-playing sessions. Our discussion group size is limited to maximize class participation, and registration close on Tuesday, October 5th. Don’t’ miss out . . . register today! Walk-ins are not encouraged.
RLI offers the opportunity to interact with newer members early in their Rotary journey as well as members of many
years all looking to expand their Rotary knowledge. You will learn from different perspectives of Rotarians from
around our district. Plus you will have time for networking with those same Rotarians. And what better way to
network with Rotarians than with food . . .

The mission of the Rotary Leadership Institute’s Sunshine Division is to provide an up-to-date, practical, and user friendly educational opportunity in convenient locations for Rotarians identified as potential leaders by their club officers. Courses are given to foster leadership skills and Rotary knowledge with the intent to motivate the participant to be enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Rotarians
