The City of Roswell launches this year’s Riverside Sounds, a FREE Concert Series, on April 27 with the soulful and powerful sounds of The Suffers. This Houston, Texas band’s “Gulf Coast Soul” music offers a mixture of the different cultures and musical styles present around the Gulf Coast and the city of Houston, including Cajun, African American, Mexican, Caribbean, which all come together and mix in the port city. Fueled by buoyant rhythms, muscular horns, and hair-raising vocals, The Suffers celebrate a multidimensional, multicultural take on soul.Roswell Riverside Sounds is Roswell's longest running, FREE outdoor concert series. Riverside Sounds is celebrating 24 years of highlighting various musical genres and spotlighting original artists who bring moving lyrics, uplifting beats and unmatched energy.
The concert series offers a laid back environment surrounded by beautiful scenery, playgrounds, and trails along the Chattahoochee River.
Bring your chairs, picnic blankets and friends to this unique Roswell tradition. Come out and enjoy both familiar and new genres of music performed by creative, lyric-driven artists.
