River Whyless makes a long overdue return to Riverside Sounds, Roswell's FREE outdoor concert series, on August 24. This neo-traditional folk quartet from Asheville, North Carolina brings a dose of folk-rock and an artful approach to their songwriting and arrangements. The mountains of North Carolina resonate through their easy contemplative style, with evocative lyrics and instrumentation woven together in a hauntingly sweet spin on traditional foundations.Roswell Riverside Sounds is a free outdoor concert series held every fourth Saturday of the month, April through September, starting at 7:30 pm.
Roswell Riverside Sounds is Roswell's longest running, free outdoor concert series. Riverside Sounds is celebrating 24 years of highlighting various musical genres and spotlighting original artists who bring moving lyrics, uplifting beats and unmatched energy.
The concert series offers a laid back environment surrounded by beautiful scenery, playgrounds, and trails along the Chattahoochee River.
Bring your chairs, picnic blankets and friends to this unique Roswell tradition. Come out and enjoy both familiar and new genres of music performed by creative, lyric-driven artists.
Beer, wine and sangria will be available for purchase at each concert courtesy of our sponsors Top Job Beverage and Events and Gate City Brewing Company. Food will also be available to purchase at on-site food trucks: The Club@Cedarcrest, Viva Pita, and King of Pops!
