Ross Kratter Jazz Orchestra 11th Anniversary Spectacular

The Ross Kratter Jazz Orchestra is celebrating its eleventh anniversary this year! We had to miss having a tenth anniversary show last year, so this one will serve as the big blowout event!

There will be two hourlong sets of music. Both sets are included in the price of your ticket.

Doors will open at 8:00.

The first set, at 8:30, will be a concert/listening set, featuring the band's main repertoire, which consists entirely of compositions and arrangements by Ross Kratter and other members of the band.

Between sets, around 9:30, we will have an Introductory Swing Dancing class taught by Gaby Cook and Nathan Bugh.

The second set, at 10:00, will be a dance set, featuring classics from Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, and more. This set is for Swing, Lindy Hop, and Jazz dancers. This set will also feature dance performances by Gaby Cook and Nathan Bugh.

Soft drinks and light bites will be available for purchase. Feel free to BYOB.

The band is comprised of musicians who have performed with the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, the Mingus Big Band, the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, Paquito d'Rivera, Postmodern Jukebox, and so many more.
