Rosie's Tea and Jazz

Rosie's Tea is pleased to invite you to a special floor-seated Gong Fu Cha-style tea ceremony event.

Unlike most tea practices, which steep tea in large amounts of water, Gong Fu Cha focuses on brewing a smaller amount of tea many times over. During your seating, you'll have the opportunity to observe and appreciate how different tea leaves gradually open and change over the course of their brewing.

This ceremony provides a chance to find intimacy within your own physiology and with others. It's an opportunity to relax your nervous system, let go of the capitalistic pressure of 'more', and simply enjoy the company of friends while sipping tea and listening to jazz.

Practical notes:

• There are a total of 8 floor seated tables
• Shoes-off
• Maximum party of 6
• 90 minute seatings
• You will have the option to choose from several different types of tea.
• Parties are gauranteed their own table— if you are open to sitting with others, let me know!
