A monthly heart-opening gathering held at Dvâra Sanctuary. Through rose medicine, somatic practice, guided journey, and sacred circle, we slow down enough to touch what is tender, true, and alive in us. Each ceremony we commune by drinking rose tea, engaging in embodied ritual, meditation, and sound, and receive the wisdom of the rose as a teacher of the heart. Come to grieve, to soften, to remember beauty, to be witnessed.
Working with Rose, both in my own life and alongside my clients, has been one of the deepest privileges I know.
She is called the Cosmic Mother for good reason. Rose holds the particular kind of safety that allows our mother wounds to rise: the grief of abandonment, neglect, the places where we were left unprotected, the quiet ways our mothers' own limitations shaped us. She holds us, nurtures us, and teaches us how to be our own mothers in the way we wish our mothers would have been to us.
Working with Rose in a ceremonial container allows for emotions that have long been sealed beneath the surface find their way through. What was hidden becomes witnessed, and in that witnessing, we are changed, softened and made newly wise to the wounds that have quietly been running our lives.
This is a sacred space for genders of all kinds.

About the Facilitator:
Christine Marie is a Medicine Weaver, ceremonialist, energy healer, 2x author, and the founder Earth & Energy Medicine School. A former registered nurse turned earth-based healer, she has spent over a decade bridging the wisdom of the body with the intelligence of the land. She co-stewards Dvâra Sanctuary in Portland, Oregon and holds space for healing through ceremony, sound, plant medicine, and ancestral lineage work. Christine Marie is also emerging as a medicine musician, weaving song and sound into her ceremonial offerings.
