Don’t miss this popular day of San Diego Rose Society Instruction on All Things Rose Care in Balboa Park’s Room 101, Casa del Prado on Sunday, January 19th. If you haven’t been to this event before, or if you are a newer member, it is definitely worth your time and the $39 fee that covers the cost of the lunch, snacks and some of our very best speakers.

9:30 am - 10:00 am Check-in and refreshments
10:00 am Welcome
10:10 am - 10:50 am Basic Rose Care through the Year, Beth Van Boxtel, Consulting Rosarian
10:50 am - 12:00 noon Pest Management and Chemical Safety, Tom Cooney, Master Rosarian
12:00 noon - 1:00 pm Box lunch and break
1:00 pm - 1:45 pm Soil, Water and Fertilizer, Ruth Tiffany, Master Rosarian
1:45 pm - 2:30 pm Pruning and Garden Hygiene Practices, Linda Clark, Consulting Rosarian
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm Balboa Park Rose Garden Walkthrough (see examples of newly pruned roses!)
There will be a drawing at 2:30 p.m. for two Walter Andersen $35 gift certificates toward the purchase of a new rose.
In addition to our speakers, Consulting Rosarians will be available to answer your one-on-one questions throughout the day.
The cost is $39.00, including lunch and refreshments.
