ROSCOE TRIPP, DITORO, ARGO AND THE VIOLET QUEENS & JARED KNAPIKROSCOE TRIPP is an indie rock band, not a person. But, if it was a person, they would be in this indie rock band. Reviews of ROSCOE TRIP's first two EPs compared the band to Bright Eyes, Pavement, Julian Casablancas, M. Ward, and Modest Mouse.
ROSCOE TRIPP began in 2021 as an outlet for DC-based producer Greg Fine to record songs influenced by the early 00's indie scene. The following year, ROSCOE TRIPP was fully formed as a band and began playing live shows. Fine performs lead vocals and is joined by Tony Vitez on lead guitar, Masterjee Bumbu on rhythm guitar, Cass Foley on bass, and Ash Tressel on drums.
ROSCOE TRIPP's debut EP, It Always Starts with Something was released in January 2023, and comprised of songs written, recorded, and performed by Fine. In August 2023, ROSCOE TRIPP released their 2nd EP, A Cage Made of Tin which the band recorded together. The title track charted at multiple college radio stations, and was produced by Kenny Carkeet, most
notably known for AWOLNATION’s hit song “Sail"
In early 2024, ROSCOE TRIPP released a cover of Faraquet’s Cut Self Not on the compilation vinyl Yesterday Today: DC Does Dischord. The album included new tracks from The Dismemberment Plan and was featured by Brooklyn Vegan. ROSCOE TRIPP's first full-length album is anticipated in early 2025.

DC’s own DITORO is a self-professed “nostalgia addict,” heavily influenced by the 90s/00s music she grew up with. Born into a musical family, she was instantly drawn to piano and guitar as a kid and began writing songs as a teen. She released her first EP in 2019, and is currently working on her first full-length album, to be released this year. DiToro packs a punch with her catchy riffs, melodic alt-rock hooks and high energy live show.

ARGO AND THE VIOLET QUEENS is an art rock band based out of Washington D.C. that blend surreal stage props with captivating visual collages to create an immersive world in which the audience lives for the duration of their show. Sonically, all four members make unique contributions to the band’s overall sound as they weave through explorations of what the 20th century’s preeminent genres can be once altered and perverted by live experimentation. From their implementation of seventies psychedelia, uplifting new wave attitudes, fifties rock and roll aesthetics, and rhythmic flourishes informed by jazz tradition; this expansive list of influences creates cohesive sound that leaves audience members anticipating what sonic era they’ll experience next. While musical aspects like these bring in the viewer’s attention, the band’s stage presence is what ultimately seizes it. The band’s synchronization on stage achieves a theatrical flair as its members physically represent an array of thematic elements and statements in a visually compelling style.

Pulling as much influence from the punk bands he discovered in his adolescence, as from the 50's Rock & Roll playing in the house as a kid, JARED KNAPIK has honed a unique and distinguishable sound all his own. Taking pages from the books of esteemed acts such as Dashboard Confessional and The Gaslight Anthem, Jared's catalog simultaneously sounds familiar and refreshing. His, at times, bashing style of guitar playing paired with personal lyrics breeds a performance that - while not in volume - in spirit, rivals that of a full band. With his 2017 full length LP, More Than You'll Ever Know, laying a solid foundation of touring material, and his follow-up release, 2019's Waiting Me Out, garnering even more praise, Jared's first
collection of songs in three years - Never Said - has been highly anticipated and met with further acclaim.
