Every night more than 116,000 people in Australia don’t have a safe place to sleep or call home. The number of homeless Australians is a rising issue, with the rate of homelessness increasing by 2.7% each year.The C.ex Community Crew Sleep Out is an annual community event, raising awareness and funds for local charities working to improve these statistics, and reduce the number of homeless people and people at risk of homelessness living on the Coffs Coast.
And 104.1 CHY FM will be there to help raise funds for this worthy cause. The Rosco on the Radio program will be broadcast LIVE from the Cex Community Crew Sleep Out from 6pm to 9pm. Rosco will be interviewing event coordinators and participants, taking song requests and doing lots of giveaways.
