Rosa Anschütz ist Musikerin und Klangkünstlerin. In ihrer Praxis verbindet sie Komposition, Installation und Performance und vereint die dunkle Atmosphäre von Post-Punk und Cold Wave mit ätherischer Polyphonie und synthgetriebenen Melodien. Sie hat drei LPs veröffentlicht: Votive (2020), begleitet von neun Ton-Skulpturen, inspiriert von Votivgaben; Goldener Strom (2022), das an der Deutschen Oper Berlin inszeniert wurde; und Interior (2024), bestehend aus neun Tracks, die jeweils von einer handbestickten Paillettenlandschaft begleitet werden, gefertigt von Anschütz selbst.
Ihre Arbeiten wurden unter anderem im Goethe-Institut in Tokio, im Mayhem in Kopenhagen, im silent green, an der Deutschen Oper und im Künstler*innenhaus Bethanien in Berlin, bei Supersonic Records in Paris sowie bei Karmen Carmina in Straßburg gezeigt und aufgeführt. Zudem war sie bei zahlreichen Festivals vertreten.
Ihr neuestes Werk ist die Filmmusik zu How to Be Normal und The Oddness of the Other World, beide unter der Regie von Florian Pochlatko. Die Filme feierten 2025 ihre Premiere auf der 75. Berlinale. Ihr neues Album Sabbatical erschien im September 2025.

Rosa Anschütz is a musician and sound artist whose practice merges composition, installation, and performance. Her sound blends the dark ambience of post-punk and cold wave with ethereal polyphony and synth-driven melodies. She has released three LPs: Votive (2020), accompanied by nine clay sculptures inspired by votive offerings; Goldener Strom (2022), which was staged at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin; and Interior (2024), featuring nine tracks, each track accompanied by a sequined landscape hand-stitched by Anschütz.
Her work has been exhibited and performed at venues including the Goethe Institute in Tokyo, Mayhem in Copenhagen, silent green, Deutsche Oper, and Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, Supersonic Records in Paris, Karmen Carmina in Strasbourg, and numerous festivals.
Her latest work is the movie score for How to Be Normal and The Oddness of the Other World, directed by Florian Pochlatko. It premiered at the 75th Berlin Film Festival in 2025.
Anschütz is signed to the Los Angeles-based label Heartworm Press with her forthcoming Album Sabbtical, which was released in September 2025.
