About...
Róisín Berkeley
Róisín Berkeley is a traditionally trained harpist and composer from the West of Ireland.
Her work is rooted in the traditional Irish style while leaning into experimental and ambient music.
bog band
bog band are an Irish duo writing alternative pop with an eye to the classical song-writing tradition – the songs are full of understated, romantic melodies, affectionately calling what they make 'Laptop Soul.' Vanity Project, their debut EP, came out earlier this year with support from The Fader, The Quietus, Line of Best Fit and more.
Dreamcastmoe
dreamcastmoe aka Davon Bryant-Mason is a lifelong resident of Washington DC, formerly the chocolate city. He is the singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ who since 2017 has quietly been releasing some of the most hotly-tipped and underground genre-spanning music.
Traversing across R&B, funk, soul, jazz, and hip-hop, Bryant slickly moves between styles and tones. This ability to twist and turn in different directions — yet remain stylistically coherent — can be traced to his home city of DC and the makeup of the neighborhoods.
dreamcastmoe’s beats are a mirror to his life lived and experienced there. “I would not be where I am today if I weren’t from DC,” he says. “You can hear DC in the way that I talk. Certain runs in my voice are rooted to the soul of DC because I listen to a lot of Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. I would say DC has a role in my approach to my music and sets the tone. I’m one of those people that could work with anyone. I always try to bring the best out of people. That’s just how I grew up. I grew up in a smorgasbord of a city where one block could be hood shit and the next block could be the White House. You have to know how to move accordingly through all those spaces.”
In 2018, after a string of one-off projects and wax-only releases, dreamcastmoe shared The Lost Tape Vol. 2, his first full-length release. Showcasing his versatility as an artist and collaborator, he recorded the project with his live full band over the course of about a year and a half with stints in D.C., New York, Los Angeles, and London, and sessions both intimate (basement in D.C.) and lush (XL Recording’s studios in NYC). Production credits include Nolife, baxter, Cajm, Cool Water, Daquan, Sylo, and Dreamcast himself (Burymeinamink). Features range from hometown talent like Nappy Nappa and AutoLola to New York’s Remy Banks and London’s John Glacier. Tracks reflect the experience of love and heartbreak and starting fresh and anew.
In the years since, he has put out several EPs with labels such as Trading Places, In Real Life Music, and People’s Potential Unlimited. dreamcastmoe makes his Ghostly International debut in 2022.
