Once a month we open the doors to the Rope Salon, where you’re invited to collective experiences with rope play. Each salon has its own theme and is facilitated in ways that make it easy to connect with others, and we will co-create a lighthearted, fun, and kinky evening together.
Salons are for experienced rope lovers and curious newbies alike. No need for elaborate ties, just bring an open heart and expect lots of chemistry, collective curiosity, and meeting new rope loving souls. We hold the space in ways that support you in playing within your boundaries.
We begin in a welcoming circle and the first parts of each salon are fully facilitated, bringing us together in playful ways, and later in the evening we gradually open the space up for your own adventure, perhaps going deeper with new people you met or diving into new inspiration you found.
There are four different Rope Salons, rotating each month. Make sure to check in the event title, what theme each salon is.
Group Ties - 5/3
Rope play with threesomes, foursomes, and moresomes, oh my! Experience the creativity and fun of working together to tie one or more - and the connectedness of being tied together. How might it feel to tie with four hands instead of just two? What might you experience being tied to another body (or two)? Join us as we lead you through exercises to experiment with different people and group sizes.
Connection Games - 2/4
Why so serious? Here we hope to open your eyes to new ways to bring playfulness, connection, and sensations to your rope experience. Through a series of small social games, we aim to help you find play in your ropes, feel the connections with others, and get you to think outside the box on what rope play can be.
Flavours of Rope - 7/5
This evening we aim to inspire you by exploring how emotions, energy, music, and sensation can add new layers to your rope play. Notice how connection deepens when we tie with our feelings fully present. Feel how energy shifts when we invite the four elements into our play. What happens when we tie through archetypes, or let different musical moods guide the rope? By introducing new flavours, we will add more depth, texture, and fun into our rope play.
Rope Roulette - 4/6
An evening of many playful encounters, where you’re invited to tie with different people in shorter sessions, mostly with a single rope or two. We will guide you through switching formats that make it easy and natural to meet and tie with new people and gradually dive into longer and perhaps deeper sessions.
SHOULD I JOIN WITH A PARTNER?
No, you do not need a partner at all, in fact, this could be a great way to meet new rope partners. You are welcome to come with a partner, however with the Rope Salon format, you will be switching partners throughout the evening, as trying new partners and constellations is part of the experience. You’re still welcome to attend together — you’ll simply explore also with others during the evening.
This evening gives you the chance to co-create in a fluid, collective experience, and we encourage openness to different people and genders in the exercises, within your boundaries. We believe we can all learn something from tying with someone else.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
Absolutely! You don’t need to be an experienced rope connoisseur to join.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no strict dress code, but we invite you to make an effort and help create a lovely atmosphere in the room.
Wear something you can move in and that makes you feel playful. Please leave your street clothes at home, thank you.
WHAT TO BRING
Rope if you have it - we also have some rope you can borrow.
A water bottle with a lid - no open containers in the play space.
TIMES
18.30 Doors open for you to arrive and land. Please come early to meet the people you will be sharing the evening with and tune into the vibe.
19.00 Doors close and we begin. Please note that you can’t arrive after this time.
22.00 End of the facilitated space. You’re welcome to decompress with old and new acquaintances in our lounge afterwards.

Before showing up to any of our activities, please make sure to read and follow the House of Play Code of Conduct. Feel free to contact the evening facilitator for questions or if you need help with a situation.
TICKETS
Free for members.
300 kr non-members.
Please sign up before you come and remember to cancel your ticket no later than 24 hours before the event, or you will get a no-show fee. This is so you don’t hold a space you don’t use, instead of letting people on the waiting list get a spot.
