This evening is for those who love to be tied, who love to tie, and for those who enjoy exploring both roles. Each little session will be with one rope only - this is an evening without elaborate ties but with lots of chemistry, curiosity and meeting new rope loving souls.
The event is suited for complete beginners as well as those who have enjoyed the beautiful world of rope play for many years.
Expect a vibe that’s fun, kinky, and lighthearted - all we ask is that you bring your curiosity, a playful mind and an open heart.
PROGRAM
We open the evening with a welcoming circle and small exercises to warm up our boundaries, get to know each other and build a warm and inviting atmosphere.
After this the rounds of rope begin and we will invite you in different ways into meeting new people in small tying sessions, and inspire you with simple inputs to perhaps tie in ways you haven’t done before. All exercises are invitations, and you’re always encouraged to only do what feels right for you.
Toward the end of the evening we open up to a format that allows for longer sessions with the people that sparked your curiosity and chemistry the most.
THIS IS ALSO THE FIRST ROPE SALON
This is the first event in our new series called Rope Salon.
Many of us love the Monday Rope Jams as a mostly open space for practicing and playing with rope.
The Rope Salons are different in that here we invite you into a more structured format that inspires new and different experiences with rope play. We will have salons for tying in groups, for tying on the floor only, for coming without a partner, and other designs to allow for novel explorations and meeting new people with ropes.
SHOULD I JOIN WITH A PARTNER?
No, you do not need a partner at all. But this could be a great way to meet new rope partners.
You are welcome to come with a partner but for this evening, it doesn’t make sense to tie with your partner only, as trying new partners is part of the concept. You’re still welcome to attend together — you’ll simply explore with others during the rotations and are welcome to reconnect when we open the space for longer dates afterwards.
This evening gives you the chance to co-create in a fluid, collective experience and we encourage openness to different people and genders in the exercises, within your boundaries.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
Absolutely! You don’t need to be an experienced rope connoisseur to join.
WHAT TO WEAR
There is no strict dress code, but we invite you to make an effort and help create a lovely atmosphere in the room.
Wear something you can move in and that makes you feel playful. Please leave your street clothes at home, thank you.
WHAT TO BRING
Rope if you have it - we also have some rope you can borrow.
A water bottle with a lid - no open containers in the play space.
TIMES
18.30 Doors open for you to arrive and land. Please come early to meet the people you will be sharing the evening with and tune into the vibe.
19.00 Doors close and we begin. Please note that you can’t arrive after this time.
22.00 End of the facilitated space. You’re welcome to decompress with old and new acquaintances in our lounge afterwards.

Before showing up to any of our activities, please make sure to read and follow the House of Play Code of Conduct. Feel free to contact the evening facilitator for questions or if you need help with a situation.
TICKETS
Free for members.
As this is our first Rope Salon, it is free for non-members too.
Because it is free we ask you to be very considerate not to take up a spot unless you are sure, you want to join, and remember to cancel early if you change your mind, so allow space for someone else.
Please sign up before you come and remember to cancel your ticket no later than 24 hours before the event, or you will get a no-show fee. This is so you don’t hold a space you don’t use, instead of letting people on the waiting list get a spot.
