R.O.P.E. "Sweet Sixteen" Fundraiser
About this Event
Since 2010, R.O.P.E. has mentored young women of color and youth identifying as female or non-binary, guiding them into adulthood with confidence, leadership, and support through college and beyond. Similar to the goals of a traditional Sweet 16, this fundraising dinner and panel discussion will provide an opportunity for celebration and reflection, while honoring those who contribute in various ways to sustain our program – workshops, mentorship, service learning, and cultural experiences that connect participants with local professionals and their ancestral roots.
This fall, on September 26, 2026 at 6pm at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, we’ll hold our second-ever fundraising dinner to support the special blend of mentoring, horizon-expanding travel, cultural exploration, and educational support that lifts dozens of scholars each year to imagine and step into a bright future.
Your ticket includes dinner and a panel discussion facilitated by Sandra Burton (Director of Dance at Williams College and Trustee at Jacob's Pillow) with R.O.P.E. ambassadors, scholars, mentors, and alumni.
