Roots to Sky

The Roots and Wings Project is excited to announce the ROOTS TO SKY Summer Creative Writing Program 2026.

Participants will be published in a book, receive a stipend, and take part in free, high-level writing classes led by working professionals at the beautiful Pop-Hop Books Co-Op in Highland Park.

We are so excited to have support from the TahDah Foundation. 

The workshops meet twice a week for 6 weeks, June 15-July 22, 2026, Mon & Wed 4:00-6:00pm, led by Jesse Bliss and guest artists, with a culminating book release celebration at Pop-Hop. 

Snacks, notebooks, and a Roots and Wings Project library will be provided.
