Join Seed Theatre on Sunday, September 6 from 2–6 PM for the Grand Opening of ROOTS Market & Pantry!
ROOTS is our new barrier-free community grocery market and pantry, created around a simple belief: Everyone deserves access to good food, hygiene essentials, and the things they need to care for themselves and their families—without shame, judgment, or unnecessary barriers.
Unlike a traditional food pantry, ROOTS is designed to feel like a neighborhood grocery store. Community members can shop for available groceries, fresh and rescued foods, hygiene products, household necessities, and specialty dietary items **at no cost**.
No proof of income. No proof of identity or citizenship. No complicated application. No explaining why you need help. Just neighbors feeding neighbors.
Our Grand Opening is a chance to see the new space, learn how ROOTS works, meet the volunteers and community partners making it possible, and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in Seed Theatre's Feed the City work made possible by the generous support from First Christian Church who has donated their space for our work.
Come by, take a tour, bring a friend, donate food or supplies if you're able, and help us fill the shelves for the families who will depend on ROOTS in the months ahead.
