Clarkston Residents,
Roots for Tomorrow," a city initiative, is a tree giveaway event where residents can receive a free tree sapling (one per household). This effort promotes community involvement in enhancing local green spaces and fostering environmental sustainability. Planting, growing and caring for trees are a great way to accomplish this goal.
Trees provide numerous benefits to our community, including:
- Improving air and water quality
- Reducing noise pollution
- Providing shade and cooling
- Conserving energy
- Enhancing property values
- Supporting wildlife
Come out and get your free tree sapling on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Clarkston Public Works Department from 9am to 4pm.
**Must be a resident of the City of Clarkston, GA to participate.
**Only one tree per household.
