Join us for an adventure into the wilds of Vermont at our Summer Day Camp done Roots style! Wilderness Living and Survival skills, tracking and nature study, games and exploration of the wilds and more await students at this week long day camp.
We are excited to show kids the awe and wonder of the natural world along with feeling empowered with the practical knowledge they can use for the rest of their lives. Carving, fire, naturalist skills, games, exploration, and so much more to set them up to confidently explore and embrace the adventure of the woods.
Kids will find their days full of exploring the natural world as we move through the Vermont woods, wetlands, and fields of our 135 acre campus. Each day of camp the kids will play games, engage with the creatures of the landscape and naturalist studies, and use their hands and bodies to build skills such as carving, shelters, fire, stealthy movement, games of accuracy and more. Our instructors bring their own passion for these skills and build their curriculums around sharing their excitement and knowledge with the kids.
We have been teaching kids for decades and are excited to share with them what we find exciting and awesome about being in the woods.
