Murray Kyle & Si Mullumby join forces for this unique one-of-a-kind offering. This is more than a workshop; it’s an invitation to be an active part of an uplifting, consciousness invigorating experience.
Murray hails from the Byron Shire and is just here for this rare moment of timelessness.
With our breath, our bodies & our voices we will co-create magic. Murray will lead us in the creation of a unique song that we can all carry on with us into our lives. Si will bring musical wisdom, voice, body percussion & call and response. Together they will weave the basket of this workshop with power and sensitivity.
The stronger our roots are, the higher we can fly.
This is a movement oriented voice workshop. Please bring what you need to feel comfortable.
Recommended: Water to drink, a cushion and a thin blanket.
Age Requirement 16+ (under 16 by consultation with Si [email protected])

Murray and Si are old mates who have extensively toured the world with their unique art forms. Although they have shared the stage many times, it’s in the quiet in-between spaces that the fire of their musical connection burn’s brightest. There has been endless jams and lots of them!
Beware: both of them have a predisposition for bad puns. If dad jokes aren’t your thing, this may not be the workshop for you!

About Si Mullumby:
As a younger man, Si quit studying medicine at the University of Western Australia to hitch-hike into the Australian outback and be a didgeridoo player before he even knew how to play the instrument. Years later Si was the only non-indigenous didgeridoo player to be featured in the Sydney Olympics didgeridoo documentary, Yidaki. After this, he was invited to Arnhem Land by a high elder for personal teaching.
From these humble origins he is now recognised as one of the most influential contemporary didgeridoo players of our time. Si has toured the world for more than twenty years with his ground breaking band Wild Marmalade, the pioneers of the didgeridoo and drum sound. He has worked with Cirque du Soleil, played sold out shows at the Sydney Opera House and at one stage was signed to the UK’s leading management company. His music features on the latest Desert Dwellers album, Breath.
Si now resides in Fremantle, where he combines drums, percussive flamenco guitar and naked voice alongside this long history with Australia’s traditional instrument.

All music played on and with Respect to Noongar Boodjar
