At Garden & Grace, we’ve been quietly studying the roots, remedies, and stories of the plants that thrive right here in Louisiana. The ones our grandmothers knew. The ones that show up in gumbo, in teas, in backyard medicine cabinets.
We’re opening that up to the community.
Join us for Roots & Remedies, a gathering where we’ll walk through the garden and talk about how plants can nourish, support, and connect us—to our health, our history, and each other.
This isn’t a clinical class. It’s a conversation.
A space to learn, ask questions, and see the garden a little differently.
We’ll cover:
• Everyday plants with healing properties
• Simple, traditional uses (teas, infusions, folklore)
• What grows well right here in New Orleans
• How to start incorporating these plants into your own life
You’ll leave with new knowledge, a deeper connection to the garden, and maybe a new way of looking at what’s already growing around you.
Because around here, the garden isn’t just something you tend—
it’s something that tends to you.
Where is it happening?
